MediaFile is a CodeIgniter web based application that was created after having read about the new terms of service by Tumblr which resulted in the deletion of many blogs created in said platform.
With not place for our favorite images, MediaFile provides the freedom that was once ours and gives it back. The user can register and upload files to manage in their dashboard after having their account registered in the website.
MediaFile comes built using the latest CodeIgniter version 3.1.10 and with some of the latest modern technologies such as SASS. Some of its features are the following ones:
- Login and Register System
- Recover Password System
- Admin and User Dashboard
- Find Galleries per Category
The register system works by sending an email to the user and then activating its account via an unique URL. Once the user is in the URL, he will then create a password to activate the account specified in the database. Once that is done, the user will be allowed to access to its dashboard and to upload files to the system.
It is highly recommended to use a Gmail account if you decide to create your own account. Ignoring this will result in fail delivery of emails which will in fact not allow you to register.
If you’re like me and don’t like to create accounts in websites without first having a glance of what they’re all about, then you can use the credentials I created just for you. The credentials are found below:
